Department: Quality Control – Microbiology

Location: Kala Amb, Himachal Pradesh

Experience: 4–6 Years

Qualification: B.Sc. / M.Sc. Microbiology or relevant Life Sciences

Job Responsibilities

- Perform microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products and water samples.
- Conduct microbial limit tests, sterility testing and bacterial endotoxin testing (BET), as applicable.
- Prepare and sterilize microbiological media and maintain culture stocks.
- Perform environmental monitoring and microbiological monitoring of manufacturing areas.
- Conduct growth promotion tests and media suitability testing.
- Maintain laboratory records, SOPs, worksheets and test reports as per cGMP/GLP requirements.
- Handle microbial investigations, deviations and CAPA related to microbiology.




- Ensure proper cleaning, sterilization and maintenance of microbiology laboratory equipment.
- Support internal audits and regulatory inspections.

Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in pharmaceutical QC Microbiology.
- Knowledge of cGMP, GLP and microbiological laboratory practices.
- Valuable documentation and data-integrity practices.
- Ability to work in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
