(JD) – QC Chemist (Chemical Plant)

Job Title: QC Chemist

Department: Quality Control

Location: Bhimasar, Anjar,Kutch

Reporting To: QC Manager

Job Summary The QC Chemist is responsible for conducting chemical and physical analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, water, and other materials to ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products as per approved test methods.
- Conduct chemical analysis using laboratory instruments such as pH meter, UV Spectrophotometer, HPLC, GC, Karl Fischer, Titrator, and other analytical equipment.
- Record, review, and maintain laboratory data and test reports accurately.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Prepare and standardize reagents, solutions, and laboratory chemicals.
- Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and assist in root cause analysis.




- Monitor and maintain laboratory housekeeping and safety standards.
- Follow ISO, GMP, GLP, and company quality procedures.
- Support internal and external quality audits.
- Coordinate with Production, R&D;, and Maintenance departments for quality-related issues.
- Maintain records as per quality management system requirements.

Qualifications
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry.
- 0-2 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing plant (Freshers may apply for trainee positions).

Required Skills
- Knowledge of chemical testing methods and laboratory practices.
- Familiarity with analytical instruments and calibration procedures.
- Understanding of ISO 9001, GMP, GLP, and quality systems.
- Valuable documentation and report-writing skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Pay: ₹9,700.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
