Role & Responsibilities :

API Test Automation Engineer (Robot Framework & Python)

Experience: 6 to 9 Years

Required Skills

- 6-9 years of experience in API Testing and Test Automation
- Strong hands-on experience with Robot Framework
- Proficiency in Python scripting and automation
- Experience testing REST APIs using Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, or similar tools
- Good understanding of JSON, XML, HTTP methods, status codes, and API authentication (OAuth, JWT, Basic Auth)
- Experience in API automation framework development and maintenance
- Knowledge of SQL/Database testing
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Solid debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop,



and execute automated API test cases.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Robot Framework and Python.
- Validate API functionality, integration, reliability, and security.
- Create reusable test libraries and automation components.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze defects, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with development teams.
- Prepare test execution reports and quality metrics.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and quality assurance activities.
