Job Summary :

To be responsible for overseeing the procurement of materials and services while ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery. The role also involves monitoring and controlling operational costs, negotiating with suppliers,



and maintaining optimal inventory levels to support efficient business operations.

- To coordinate with the production, store, and marketing teams to forecast material and service requirements.
- To conduct periodic market research to stay updated on price trends, alternative materials, and sourcing innovations.
- To identify and register recent vendors by conducting initial evaluations, collecting necessary documentation, and negotiating terms.
- To manage existing vendors by ensuring consistent quality, timely delivery, and compliance with pricing and service agreements.
- To prepare cost sheets for customized conveyor products and submit them for approval to the GM and COO.
- To raise purchase orders (POs) based on approved cost sheets, budgets, and lead time requirements.
- To coordinate with store, accounts, and production teams to ensure timely inwarding and acceptance of materials.
- To monitor and manage the inward flow of raw materials, consumables, and packaging, ensuring quality, quantity, and documentation.
- To implement and monitor cost control mechanisms throughout the purchasing cycle to ensure pricing accuracy and reduce waste.
- To ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping for all procurement activities, including POs, GRNs, invoices, and approvals.
- To prepare and manage monthly procurement and cost control reports for management review.
- To ensure that all procurement processes comply with internal policies, quality standards, and statutory/legal requirements.
- To maintain data security and confidentiality, and live by the HR Policy.
- To provide reports to the GM and Management on a timely basis.
