Job Summary

Ferromonk Steel Structures Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Purchase Manager to manage procurement activities for steel, structural materials, consumables, machinery, and project-related requirements. The candidate will be responsible for vendor development, cost control, purchase planning, negotiation, and ensuring timely availability of materials for production and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for steel, structural materials, PEB components, consumables, machinery, and other project requirements.
- Develop, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Identify new vendors and negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and quality standards.
- Prepare and review purchase orders (POs) based on approved material requisitions.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials as per production schedules and project requirements.
- Monitor market rates, material availability, and price fluctuations to achieve cost savings.
- Coordinate with Production, Projects, Stores, Accounts, and other departments to ensure smooth procurement operations.
- Follow up with vendors for timely delivery and resolve issues related to delays, quality, and quantity discrepancies.
- Verify quotations, comparative statements, purchase orders,



invoices, and other procurement documents.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Stores Department to avoid material shortages or excess stock.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, vendor details, contracts, and procurement expenses.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, quality standards, and approval procedures.
- Track supplier performance and take corrective action when required.
- Prepare periodic purchase reports, cost analysis, and procurement performance reports.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in purchase and procurement within manufacturing, PEB, structural steel, fabrication, or construction industries.
- Robust knowledge of steel materials, structural components, consumables, and industrial procurement.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and purchase documentation; knowledge of ERP software is preferred.
- Excellent negotiation, vendor management, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple purchase requirements and meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
