Role Description The Purchase Manager will oversee end-to-end procurement activities, including identifying vendors, requesting quotations, negotiating pricing and terms, and issuing purchase orders for construction materials and services. The role involves monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with project and site teams to forecast material requirements, and ensuring timely delivery to support ongoing industrial, commercial, and road construction projects.

The Purchase

Manager will maintain vendor relationships, evaluate supplier performance, and ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Kantapada,



where on-site presence is required for coordination with operations, while some tasks such as documentation, reporting, and vendor communication can be performed from home.

Qualifications

- Strong procurement and vendor management skills, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract administration.
- Experience in construction or infrastructure purchasing, with familiarity in materials such as concrete paver blocks, curb stones, and flooring tiles.
- Ability to manage inventory, track purchase orders, and maintain accurate procurement records using relevant tools or software.
- Solid analytical and numerical skills for cost comparison, budgeting, and monitoring spend against project requirements.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with site teams, project managers, and suppliers.
- Capability to prioritize multiple projects, meet deadlines, and ensure timely execution of purchases.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience as a Purchase Manager or in a similar procurement role within construction or related industries is an advantage.
