Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day purchasing activities for raw materials, engineering components, consumables, spare parts, packaging materials, and other factory requirements.

- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.

- Obtain and compare quotations from multiple suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.

- Negotiate prices, payment terms, credit periods, and delivery schedules with suppliers.

- Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with approved purchase requisitions and company policies.

- Coordinate with the Production, Planning, Stores, Quality, Finance, and Maintenance departments to understand material requirements.

- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and prevent production delays due to material shortages.

- Maintain purchase records, vendor databases, quotation comparisons, and procurement documentation.





- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Stores and Planning teams to avoid stockouts and excess inventory.

- Resolve issues related to material quality, quantity discrepancies, delayed deliveries, and supplier performance.

- Coordinate with the Quality team for material inspection and supplier quality issues.

- Verify supplier invoices and coordinate with the Accounts/Finance team for payment processing.

- Develop and maintain solid relationships with existing suppliers while identifying alternative sources of supply.

- Track purchase costs, market price movements, and opportunities for cost reduction.

- Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures and approval processes.

- Prepare periodic reports on purchase orders, pending deliveries, cost savings, and supplier performance.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
