Role Description This is a full time, on-site Purchase Executive role based in Rajkot.

The Purchase

Executive will manage end-to-end purchasing activities, including handling purchase requisitions, preparing and processing purchase orders, and maintaining accurate purchase records. The role involves coordinating with internal departments to understand material and equipment requirements, sourcing vendors, obtaining quotations, and negotiating pricing and terms within defined guidelines.

Executive will monitor delivery schedules, follow up with suppliers, and ensure timely availability of materials to support production and project timelines. The role also includes maintaining vendor relationships, assisting in periodic vendor evaluation, supporting inventory control with the stores and production teams, and ensuring compliance with company policies and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Purchase Orders and Purchase Requisitions, including accurate documentation and timely processing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Purchase Management and Procurement, covering vendor sourcing, price negotiation, and material planning.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordinating with vendors, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Candidates should ideally have knowledge of ERP or inventory management systems and basic understanding of supply chain processes.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in commerce, business administration, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in purchasing or procurement within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial projects will be an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical aptitude, and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment are beneficial.
