Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline. Postgraduate qualification in Project Management will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 25 years of experience in thermal power plant project execution, including exposure to commissioning and handover phases.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale thermal power projects in a PMC, EPC, Developer, or Owner's Engineer workplace.
- Strong understanding of BTG and BOP systems, construction management, commissioning, and stakeholder coordination.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all PMC functions for the project site, ensuring achievement of project objectives related to safety, quality, cost, and schedule.
- Drive end-to-end execution of large-scale thermal power projects from erection through commissioning, PG testing, and final handover.
- Act as the single-point contact for the Employer, OEMs, Owner's Engineer, EPC contractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to multidisciplinary site teams, consultants,



and contractors.
- Manage and co-ordinate BTG (Boiler-Turbine-Generator) and BOP (Balance of Plant) activities to ensure seamless project integration.
- Review progress, identify project risks and bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to maintain project schedules.
- Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, technical specifications, statutory requirements, and industry standards.
- Lead project review meetings and provide timely reporting to senior management and stakeholders.
- Facilitate decision-making on critical technical, commercial, and operational matters impacting project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and foster a strong safety culture across the project site.
- Support successful commissioning, reliability runs, performance testing, and project close-out activities.
