Project Name: Implementation of Cancer Screening Program in Sikkim: A Multi-Modal Approach to Early Detection of Gastrointestinal, Cervical, Breast and Oral Cancers in Sikkim.

Project Investigator Name: Dr Showket Hussain, Scientist-E, ICMR-National Institute of Cancer Prevention and Research, Noida.

Position Name -: Project Research Scientist-II (Non-Medical)

No. Of Vacancy-: 01

Essential Qualification -: Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degrees (Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Biochemistry/Microbiology), with three years post-qualification experience or PhD.

Desirable Experience:



Experience in molecular biology techniques relevant to cancer research and HPV diagnostics, with hands-on expertise in handling DNA, RNA, proteins, and clinical specimens.

2.Prior experience in laboratory management and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) processes will be an added advantage. Preparation of documents related to NABL, QCI, lab management, testing, and reporting.

3.Publications as first/corresponding author/co-author in peer-reviewed research publications and/or patents in the relevant field.

Age Limit : 40 Years

Salary-: 67,000 pm + 30%HRA = 87,100/- Pm
