– Project Manager (New Ayurvedic Plant Setup)

Position: Project Manager

Location: Sonipat

Reporting To: Management / Director

Role Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced and result-oriented Project Manager who can independently handle the end-to-end setup of a new Ayurvedic manufacturing unit. The candidate should have complete ownership mindset and capability to manage the project from land stage to commercial production.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Project Ownership

- Lead the project from planning to execution to commissioning
- Act as single point of accountability for the entire plant setup
- Ensure project completion within timeline, budget, and quality standards

2. Layout Planning & Facility Design

- Finalize WHO GMP-compliant plant layout
- Ensure:
- Proper material & man flow
- Department-wise zoning (Tablet, Syrup, Food, Bhasm, Packing etc.)
- Space optimization and future scalability

3. Consultant, Architect & Contractor Management

- Identify and finalize:
- Technical consultant
- Architect
- Civil contractor

- Coordinate and ensure execution as per approved design

4. Vendor Finalization & Procurement

- Identify and negotiate with:

o Equipment suppliers
- Utility vendors (HVAC, Boiler, RO, Compressor etc.)
- Architect
- Contractors
- Electrical

- Ensure cost-effective and timely procurement

5. Regulatory Compliance

- Ensure compliance with:
- WHO GMP
- AYUSH norms




- FSSAI (for food section)

- Coordinate for approvals, documentation, and inspections

6. Utilities & Infrastructure Setup

- Oversee installation of:
- HVAC systems
- Water systems (RO/DM)
- Boiler & steam
- Air compressor
- ETP / waste system

7. Budget & Timeline Management

- Prepare and monitor project budget
- Track milestones and ensure timely completion
- Submit regular progress reports to management

8. Commissioning & Handover

- Ensure plant readiness for production
- Support trial runs and validations
- Handover complete operational setup to plant team

Candidate Profile

Experience

- 10+ years in project execution
- Must have handled complete plant setup (Pharma / Ayurvedic / Food)
- Hands-on experience in WHO GMP compliant facility
