Job Title: Project Manager – Civil & Interior Works

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Project Manager / Project Coordinator – Civil & Interior Works who can independently manage projects from initial planning to final handover.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of civil construction, interior works, architectural drawings, BOQ preparation, quantity estimation, site measurements, execution, budgeting, and client coordination.

The candidate must be capable of taking complete ownership of assigned projects, ensuring quality, timely completion, cost control, and smooth coordination between clients, architects, consultants, contractors, and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Take complete responsibility for assigned civil construction and interior projects from planning to final handover.
- Prepare, review, and verify BOQs, quantity estimations, cost estimates, and material requirements.
- Read and understand architectural, structural, civil, and interior design drawings.
- Have strong knowledge of site measurements, quantity calculations, area calculations, and material take-offs.
- Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements, design preferences, budgets, and timelines.
- Coordinate with architects, designers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and site engineers.
- Monitor daily site progress and ensure work is completed as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Identify design discrepancies, execution issues, and measurement variations and resolve them effectively.
- Prepare project schedules, work plans, progress reports, and cost updates.
- Control project costs, material wastage, labour productivity, and quality of workmanship.
- Verify contractor bills, measurements, material consumption, and work completion.
- Ensure proper execution of civil,



finishing, and interior works as per project requirements.
- Take independent decisions on routine project matters and escalate critical issues when required.
- Ensure timely project completion and client satisfaction.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of civil construction and interior execution.
- Excellent understanding of architectural drawings, design details, and technical specifications.
- Expertise in BOQ preparation, quantity surveying, estimation, and site measurements.
- Ability to understand designs and coordinate design modifications with the concerned teams.
- Good project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution skills.
- Strong client handling, communication, negotiation, and team management abilities.
- Ability to independently manage multiple project activities and take ownership of results.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project management tools.

Eligibility Criteria
- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or B.Arch.
- 8–15 years of relevant experience in civil construction and interior projects.
- Previous experience handling projects independently from start to finish.
- Practical experience in BOQ preparation, estimation, measurements, drawing interpretation, and client coordination.
- Candidates with robust technical knowledge and proven project ownership will be preferred.

What We Expect We are looking for a hands-on professional who does not simply coordinate work but takes complete responsibility for project execution, BOQ accuracy, measurements, design coordination, cost control, quality, and timely delivery.

Candidates should be technically strong, proactive, accountable, and capable of managing projects with minimal supervision.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
