1. Key Responsibilities
A. Installation &
- Commissioning
- Carry out installation, commissioning and startup of Disc RO, conventional RO and UF systems.
- Verify equipment installation, piping, instrumentation, electrical connections and control panels.
- Conduct performance trials and ensure the system operates as per the approved design parameters.
- Coordinate with the project and engineering teams for successful commissioning.
B. Operation &
- Maintenance
- Attend customer service calls and troubleshoot operational issues at site.
- Monitor feed pressure, operating pressure, flow rates, recovery, permeate quality, differential pressure and other critical operating parameters.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of RO/UF systems, high-pressure pumps, feed pumps, valves, instruments and associated equipment.
- Carry out membrane cleaning (CIP), flushing and other maintenance activities as per approved procedures.
- Inspect membrane fouling, scaling, choking and performance deterioration, and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist in membrane replacement, pump servicing and replacement of consumables and spares.
C. Disc RO / DTRO / PTRO Technical Support
- Understand the operation of disc-type RO technology and its applications in high-TDS and difficult wastewater treatment.
- Monitor Disc RO module performance,
operating pressure, recovery, permeate flow and reject quality.
- Identify scaling and fouling issues caused by silica, hardness, suspended solids and other contaminants.
- Assist in optimizing operating conditions, cleaning frequency and system recovery in consultation with the technical team.
D. UF &
- Conventional RO Systems
- Monitor UF membrane performance, backwashing, air scouring, chemical cleaning and transmembrane pressure (TMP).
- Troubleshoot UF issues related to reduced flow, high pressure drop, inadequate backwashing and membrane fouling.
- Monitor conventional RO performance, salt rejection, recovery, feed pressure and permeate quality.
- Check pretreatment equipment, including sand filters, activated carbon filters, cartridge filters and chemical dosing systems.
E.
Customer
Coordination &
- Reporting
- Visit customer sites for troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and performance monitoring.
- Prepare site visit reports, service reports, commissioning reports and maintenance records.
- Maintain records of operating parameters, CIP activities, spares consumed and pending service issues.
- Explain plant operation and maintenance procedures to customer operators.
- Coordinate with customers for service schedules,
technical requirements and closure of complaints.
- Identify requirements for spares, consumables, membrane replacement and plant improvement.
