Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and vision-driven Project Director – Enterprise Applications to lead large-scale digital transformations, core application deployments, and complex IT portfolios across our organization.

With over 12 years of progressive technical and program leadership experience, you will be responsible for defining strategic roadmaps, governing high-value project portfolios (ERP, CRM, HCM, SCM, etc.), managing cross-functional technical teams, and aligning

application delivery directly with overarching business goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Direction & Portfolio Governance

- Oversee the end-to-end strategy, execution, and lifecycle management of the organization’s enterprise application ecosystem (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Workday, or custom enterprise platforms).
- Establish robust project governance frameworks, risk management strategies, and quality assurance standards across all program streams.
- Partner with executive leadership (CIO, CTO, Business Unit Leaders) to align technology roadmaps with strategic business objectives and ROI metrics.

2. Program Delivery & Execution

- Lead multi-million dollar, multi-year enterprise transformation projects from inception through deployment, hypercare, and optimization.
- Drive project scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget management ($10M+ portfolio size).
- Serve as the senior point of escalation for complex technical, operational, and vendor issues.

3. Team Leadership & Organizational Growth

- Direct and mentor a multidisciplinary team of Project Managers, Enterprise Architects, Functional Consultants, and Technical Leads.
- Foster a culture of accountability,



continuous improvement, and agility across distributed teams.
- Lead organizational change management (OCM) initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new enterprise systems and processes.

4. Vendor & Stakeholder Management

- Manage relationships with third-party software vendors, system integrators (SIs), and external consultants, including contract negotiations, SLAs, and deliverables.
- Communicate program status, risk profiles, and financial metrics clearly to C-suite executives and board-level stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Experience: 12+ years of enterprise IT experience, with at least 6+ years in senior project/program leadership roles managing large-scale application deployments.
- Domain Expertise: Proven track record of leading complex enterprise application implementations (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Cloud, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or large custom enterprise architectures).

- Leadership: Demonstrated success managing cross-functional teams of 20+ members and external vendor partner teams.
- Methodologies: Deep expertise in Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall frameworks, as well as modern enterprise delivery standards (e.g., Protected, PMI/PMP).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s/MBA preferred).

Preferred Certifications & Skills

- Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional), PgMP (Program Management Professional), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or SAFe Agilist.
- Strong executive presence with exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Deep knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) as they relate to enterprise application hosting and integration.
- Solid analytical, negotiation, and conflict-resolution capabilities.
