We are a Surat-based diamond and jewellery group with four businesses under one roof: Chahna Jewels (fine, bridal, polki and jadau jewellery, established in 1997), Surati Jewellery Factory (our manufacturing arm), Silverique by Chahna Jewels (925 sterling silver jewellery) and Prestige Corporate Gifts (corporate and wedding gifting).

About the Role

We are looking for a Production Manager to keep our jewellery production running smoothly across departments. You will be the person who makes sure every department has what it needs, when it needs it. This is both an in-office and a field role. You will spend part of your day coordinating inside the unit and part of it out in the market sourcing materials.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate with all production departments and keep work moving smoothly from one stage to the next
- Understand the requirements of each department and make sure those requirements are met on time
- Source materials and components for production, including gemstones, diamonds, metals and other jewellery materials
- Visit suppliers, dealers and markets in person to source specific stones, diamonds or materials when a department needs them
- Track and maintain inventory of raw materials and make sure stock is available before it runs out




- Plan production schedules and follow up to make sure orders are completed on time
- Follow up with karigars, vendors and suppliers on timelines and deliveries
- Check the quality of incoming materials and finished work against the requirements
- Keep transparent records of materials sourced, issued and in stock
- Communicate daily with the management team on production status, delays and requirements

What We Are Looking For

- Some prior experience working in jewellery production or as a production manager in a jewellery setup (no minimum number of years required)
- Good understanding of how jewellery production works and how the departments connect
- Comfortable sourcing diamonds, gemstones and other materials in the market
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills
- Willing to do both office work and field work
- Must currently reside in Surat

Job Details

- Timing: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Salary: Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000 per month
- Openings: 1 ( immediate joiners preferred)

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
