Our product range includes outdoor benches, dustbins, planters, bus shelters, pergolas, gazebos, café furniture, metal furniture, and customised outdoor solutions.

Job Purpose To manage daily factory production, supervise workers, maintain product quality, ensure timely completion of orders, minimise material wastage, and improve overall production efficiency.

The Production Supervisor will ensure that every product is manufactured according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and delivery schedules.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Planning & Execution

- Plan and execute daily production activities according to customer orders and delivery schedules.
- Allocate work to fabrication, cutting, grinding, finishing, assembly, and packing teams.
- Monitor production progress and ensure timely completion of orders.
- Coordinate with management and the purchase department for raw materials and consumables.
- Identify production bottlenecks and take corrective action.

2. Worker Management & Discipline

- Supervise factory workers and allocate responsibilities according to skills and workload.
- Monitor daily attendance, punctuality, productivity, and overtime.
- Ensure proper utilisation of manpower and minimise idle time.
- Address absenteeism and arrange backup manpower when required.
- Maintain discipline and encourage teamwork and accountability.

3. Quality Control

- Ensure products are manufactured according to approved drawings, dimensions, and specifications.
- Inspect cutting, bending, welding, grinding, assembly, and finishing quality.
- Check powder-coated surfaces, weld joints, dimensions, alignment, and final appearance.




- Prevent defective products and reduce rework and customer complaints.
- Coordinate with management for final inspection before dispatch.

4. Fabrication & Technical Supervision

- Understand engineering drawings, measurements, and fabrication processes.
- Supervise MS, stainless steel, and aluminium fabrication activities.
- Ensure correct use of jigs, fixtures, machines, tools, and measuring instruments.
- Monitor outsourced processes such as galvanising and powder coating, where applicable.
- Guide workers in resolving technical and fabrication-related issues.

5. Material & Inventory Control

- Monitor daily consumption of steel, aluminium, WPC, wood, fasteners, welding consumables, and other materials.
- Prevent material wastage, theft, damage, and unnecessary scrap generation.
- Maintain records of material issued, work in progress, finished goods, and scrap.
- Coordinate with stores to ensure materials are available before production starts.

6. Safety, Housekeeping & Maintenance

- Ensure workers use appropriate PPE and follow factory safety procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation across production areas.
- Ensure proper storage of materials, tools, and finished products.
- Report machine breakdowns and coordinate preventive maintenance.
- Ensure safe handling of welding equipment, grinders, cutting machines, and other machinery.

7. Reporting & Documentation

- Prepare daily production reports showing planned versus actual output.
- Maintain worker attendance, production quantity, rejection, rework, and material consumption records.
- Report delays, breakdowns, quality issues, and manpower shortages to management.
- Maintain job cards and order-wise production tracking.
- Provide regular updates on order completion and dispatch readiness.

Required Qualifications & Skills





- ITI, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in metal fabrication, furniture manufacturing, or a similar production environment.
- Practical knowledge of MS, SS, aluminium fabrication, welding, grinding, and finishing.
- Ability to read fabrication drawings and understand dimensions.
- Basic knowledge of Excel, production reporting, and inventory records.
- Strong leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- On-time Production: Achieve at least 95% completion against agreed production schedules.
- Manpower Productivity: Improve output per worker and reduce idle time.
- Quality: Minimise rejection, rework, and finishing defects.
- Attendance: Monitor absenteeism and maintain adequate manpower availability.
- Material Control: Reduce avoidable wastage and maintain accurate material records.
- Safety & Housekeeping: Maintain a safe, organised, and disciplined factory.
- Reporting: Submit accurate daily production reports and flag delays promptly.

Working Conditions

- Full-time, on-site factory position.
- Working hours and weekly off as per company policy and applicable labour laws.
- Must be comfortable working on the factory floor and supervising fabrication teams.
- Occasional overtime or extended shifts may be required, subject to applicable law and company policy.

Ideal Candidate Profile We are looking for a hands-on supervisor who takes ownership of production, can manage workers firmly and fairly, understands fabrication quality, and ensures that orders are completed on time without unnecessary wastage.
