AI-First Product Manager Automations (Backend,

Risk & Ops)

Location: Gurgaon / Mumbai

Type: Full-time

Experience: 2–5 years

Reports to: VP & Head of Product

About the role

You will own automation across our backend, risk management and operations – the engine that lets the business scale without scaling headcount or risk. You are accountable for cost and time saved, risk losses avoided and the revenue that faster, safer operations unlock.

This is a growth role first: you will build, but your primary job is to scale what you own.You will sit in a lean product team that runs product as a business, working directly with engineering, RMS,

operations, compliance, marketing and the business heads.

What you will own

- Automation of RMS workflows: margin monitoring, square-off, limits, collateral and pledge handling
- Back-office and mid-office processes: settlements, reconciliations, payouts, corporate actions, regulatory

reporting
- Internal tools and workflow platforms used by ops, risk, compliance and support
- Business metrics: manual hours removed, turnaround times, error and exception rates, cost per account, risk

incidents

What you will do

Scale and grow

- Find the highest-value manual processes and build the business case to automate them
- Turn automation into growth: faster payouts, instant pledge and margin, quicker issue resolution, and capacity

to onboard far more clients at the same cost
- Track and report savings and impact in hard numbers

Build and manage
- Own the automation roadmap and drive delivery with backend engineering, RMS, operations, finance and

compliance
- Write clear specs for system integrations, rules engines and data pipelines
- Keep every automation audit-ready and compliant with SEBI and exchange requirements

AI-first
- Deploy AI agents and LLM workflows for operations: exception handling, reconciliation matching, document

processing, alert triage, support resolution
- Use AI and ML for risk: anomaly detection, early-warning signals, surveillance support
- Use AI tools daily for process mapping, analysis,

prototyping and specs Non-negotiables
- AI-first approach. You default to AI in how you work (research, specs, analysis, prototyping, testing) and in

what you ship (AI-led features, agents, automation). You can show real examples of both.
- Sound technical depth. You understand how your product works under the hood (APIs, data flows, system

dependencies, latency and failure points) well enough to challenge engineering and make trade-offs. End-to-end ownership. You own the outcome, not the backlog: discovery, build, launch, adoption, revenue and ongoing scale.
- Revenue and growth accountability. You set targets, track them weekly, and know which levers move them.
- Out-of-the-box thinking. You question how things are done today and bring ideas the market has not seen

yet.
- Go-getter and self-learner. You pick up new domains, tools and regulations on your own and move without

waiting for perfect information. Must-haves
- 2–5 years in product management, business analysis or process automation in fintech, broking, banking or

enterprise software
- Demonstrated AI-first way of working, with concrete examples of AI or automation shipped
- Strong technical depth: APIs, databases, batch and real-time processing, workflow and rules engines, system integrations
- Ability to map complex processes end to end and quantify their cost
- Comfort working with operations and risk teams on day-to-day problems

Positive to have
- Stock broking back-office, RMS or clearing and settlement experience
- Knowledge of SEBI margin, collateral and reporting frameworks
- Hands-on with SQL, Python or low-code automation tools

What success looks like
- First 90 days: Map the top manual processes with cost and risk data, and automate at least one end to end.
- First 12 months: Deliver agreed savings in manual effort and turnaround times, cut risk incidents, and run at

least one AI agent in production. Who we are looking for

Early-career product people with high energy and a genuine ambition to build a long-term career in Indian capital markets.

A stock broking or fintech background is a strong plus.
