- Job Role The Process Expert (PE) is responsible for executing and monitoring day-to-day dark store operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, timely order processing, quality compliance, and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs). The role involves coordinating with pickers, shift in-charges, quality teams, and store management to maintain smooth and efficient store operations.
- Roles and Responsibilities
- Execute daily operational activities, including inbound receiving, put-away, stowing, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Ensure accurate inventory management and stock availability within the store.
- Perform regular bin audits, cycle counts, inventory verification, and ICQA activities.
- Monitor product quality, expiry dates, damaged items, and near-expiry stock.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO inventory rotation practices wherever applicable.




- Track operational metrics such as PPI, O2A, order fulfilment, productivity, and inventory accuracy.
- Identify process deviations and take corrective action as per SOPs.
- Coordinate with shift in-charges and store management to resolve operational issues.
- Ensure proper segregation and handling of ambient, chilled, frozen, and fruits and vegetables (F&V;) inventory.
- Maintain workplace cleanliness, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare and update operational reports, audit trackers, and inventory records.
- Support new employee training and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Educational Qualifications
- Minimum qualification: Intermediate (10+2) or any equivalent qualification.
- Graduation is preferred but not mandatory, subject to company requirements.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Excel are preferred.
- Experience
- Freshers may apply, subject to the hiring requirements.
- Experience in warehouse operations, quick commerce, retail, inventory management, or e-commerce is preferred.
- Candidates with experience in Amazon, grocery operations, or dark store processes will have an added advantage.
