Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Process Engineering professional to support bus body manufacturing and panel line establishment, BOM management, process optimization, plant layout planning, and production line balancing. The role will focus on improving manufacturing efficiency, product quality, and operational productivity through effective process planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Create, review, and maintain Engineering and Manufacturing Bills of Materials (BOMs) in PLM and SAP.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by developing and releasing production-ready BOMs.
- Conduct BOM audits and resolve discrepancies across engineering drawings, CAD models, PLM, and SAP.
- Establish and optimize bus body manufacturing and panel lines, including process planning and equipment selection.




- Analyse existing manufacturing processes and implement improvements using Lean Manufacturing and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Develop and optimize plant layouts, machine placement, operator movement, and material flow.
- Conduct line balancing studies based on takt time, production targets, and customer demand.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve line efficiency and productivity.
- Participate in process validation, capability studies, and manufacturing troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with quality systems, safety requirements, and manufacturing documentation standards, including IATF 16949 and ISO 45001:2018, as applicable.

Educational Qualification B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.

Preferred Industry Exposure

- Automotive OEMs and Tier-1 automotive suppliers.
- Bus body manufacturing, commercial vehicles, panel lines, and sheet-metal manufacturing.
- Electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing and current product development environments.
