Role & responsibilities

- Academic Leadership: Oversee the planning, development, and implementation of undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD/MS/DNB) medical curricula.

- Administrative Management: Serve as the drawing and disbursing officer, manage budgets, and direct daily operations of the college and affiliated hospital.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to standards set by national medical bodies, the affiliated university, and government health norms.

- Faculty & Staff Oversight: Handle faculty recruitment, performance evaluations, promotions, and career development.

- Committee Leadership: Chair the College Council, academic boards, and hospital management committees.

- Research & Quality Assurance: Foster a research-driven environment,



encourage clinical and academic publications, and monitor student welfare and discipline.

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: A recognized postgraduate medical qualification (MD / MS / DNB). A Ph.D. in a relevant medical discipline is often preferred.

- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of total teaching experience in a recognized medical college.

- Seniority: At least 5 years of experience serving as a Professor or Head of Department (HOD).

- Administrative Skills: Proven track record in institutional administration, leadership, and regulatory affairs
