Job Title: DevOps Principal Engineer GCP

Qualification: Any Graduate or Above

Relevant Experience: 8+ Years in Cloud Technologies, including a minimum of 5 years of hands-on GCP experience (Mandatory)

Must Have Skills:

Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience

Overall Cloud Experience 8+ Years (Mandatory)

GCP Cloud Architecture and Infrastructure Management

Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Kubernetes and Docker

CI/CD Pipelines Jenkins, Cloud Build, GitLab CI/CD

Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

GCP Services – Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM and Load Balancing

Linux Administration and Shell Scripting

Cloud Automation, Monitoring and Troubleshooting

DevOps Architecture and Technical Leadership

Valuable To Have Skills:

AWS and/or Microsoft Azure Cloud Experience

GitOps – Argo CD / Flux

Python Scripting and Automation

DevSecOps and Cloud Security

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)

Roles and Responsibilities:

Design, implement and maintain scalable, secure and highly available cloud infrastructure, primarily on GCP.

Lead DevOps architecture, cloud engineering and infrastructure automation initiatives.

Manage GCP services, including Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM and Cloud Load Balancing.





Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, Jenkins or other relevant tools.

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and automate cloud provisioning.

Deploy, manage and optimize containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

Establish cloud security, access control, governance and compliance best practices.

Implement monitoring, logging, alerting and performance optimization using cloud-native tools.

Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure, networking, deployment and production issues.

Drive cloud cost optimization, reliability, scalability and operational efficiency.

Collaborate with application development, security and operations teams to improve software delivery.

Define DevOps standards, reusable frameworks and automation best practices.

Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams on GCP and DevOps technologies.

Work with other cloud platforms, such as AWS and Azure, wherever required.
