:
- We are seeking an experienced PostgreSQL Database Administrator DBA with 6 8 years of experience in database administration performance tuning backup and recovery and high availability environments
- The candidate will be responsible for managing enterprise PostgreSQL databases ensuring optimal performance security availability and operational excellence
- Key Responsibilities
- Install configure administer and maintain PostgreSQL database environments
- Perform database upgrades patching and migrations
- Monitor database performance and optimize queries indexes and configurations
- Manage backup restore and disaster recovery processes
- Implement and support High Availability HA and replication solutions
- Perform database capacity planning and storage management
- Troubleshoot database performance issues and conduct root cause analysis
- Implement database security user management and access controls
- Support application teams during deployments and database changes
- Automate routine DBA activities using Shell Python or PowerShell scripting
- Manage database health monitoring and alerting tools
- Participate in incident problem change and release management processes
- Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
- Required Skills
- 6 8 years of experience in Database Administration
- Strong hands on experience with PostgreSQL 11 12 13 14 15 and above
