Description

To lead end-to-end manufacturing operations for Ayurvedic medicines and organic products, ensuring regulatory compliance, quality excellence, operational efficiency, cost optimization, and scalable growth, aligned with brand values of purity and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

- Manufacturing & Operations

- Lead complete plant operations including production, maintenance, utilities, stores, and dispatch.
- Drive production planning, capacity utilization, and on-time delivery.
- Improve productivity through process optimization, automation, Lean / TPM / Kaizen initiatives.
- Ensure minimal wastage, optimal yields, and cost efficiency.

2. Quality, Compliance & Certifications
- Ensure strict compliance with:

- AYUSH GMP

- WHO-GMP

- FSSAI (for organic foods/nutraceuticals)

- ISO / HACCP / Organic Certifications (as applicable)

- Own internal & external audits; ensure zero critical observations.
- Maintain SOPs, batch records, traceability, and stability documentation.

3. Regulatory & Liaison




- Coordinate with AYUSH authorities, FDA, Pollution Control Board, and local regulators.
- Handle plant licenses, renewals, inspections, and statutory compliances.
- Ensure documentation and approvals for current products and formulations.

4. Supply Chain & Raw Material Control
- Oversee sourcing, storage, and quality control of herbal and organic raw materials.
- Ensure proper aging, segregation, and traceability of herbs and organic inputs.
- Work closely with procurement to manage vendor quality and supply continuity.

5. People Leadership & Culture
- Lead cross-functional teams: Production, QA, QC, Engineering, Warehouse.
- Build leadership bench strength and succession planning.
- Drive training on GMP, hygiene, safety, and quality culture.

6. EHS & Sustainability
- Ensure adherence to EHS, fire safety, waste management, and effluent treatment norms.
- Champion sustainability initiatives aligned with organic and eco-friendly practices.
