AOPL provides cryogenic supply systems and related engineering, construction, installation, training, and maintenance services, with strong emphasis on safety and adherence to industrial standards.

In addition to gases, AOPL is active in chemical trading for segments such as sulphur dioxide, dyes, wastewater treatment chemicals, maintenance and cleaning solutions, and welding electrodes, serving large corporations and multi-specialty hospitals across Gujarat.

Role Description The Plant Engineer (Industrial Gases) is a full-time, on-site role based at the Ahmedabad manufacturing facility. The role involves overseeing daily plant operations, monitoring production performance, and ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable generation and distribution of industrial and medical gases.

Responsibilities include supervising plant equipment, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, and supporting power generation systems associated with plant utilities.

The Plant

Engineer will collaborate with operations, safety,



and quality teams to maintain compliance with relevant standards, optimize processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives. The role also requires maintaining documentation, supporting audits, and providing technical guidance to plant technicians and operators.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Plant Engineering and Plant Operations, with experience in industrial gases or process plants.
- Candidates should possess skills in Plant Maintenance and Troubleshooting to manage preventive, predictive, and breakdown activities for mechanical and electrical systems.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Power Generation and utility systems relevant to industrial gas production and distribution.
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field) from an accredited institution.
- Experience in industrial gases, cryogenic plants, or similar process industries, including familiarity with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs;, equipment manuals, and maintenance schedules.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to safety and risk management.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with cross-functional plant and corporate teams.
- Willingness to work on-site in Ahmedabad and be available for shift support or emergency call-outs as required.
