Role Description The Planning Engineer role is a full-time, remote position responsible for supporting production and project planning activities for the Chikhali car plant. On a day-to-day basis, the Planning Engineer will develop and maintain production plans, schedules, and capacity analyses to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing operations.

The role includes monitoring project progress, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and implementing project control measures to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.

The Planning

Engineer will analyze data, identify risks or bottlenecks,



and recommend corrective actions to optimize processes and resource utilization. Regular communication with plant stakeholders, preparation of reports, and adherence to safety and quality standards are core parts of the role.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Planning and Production Planning skills, including experience in creating schedules, capacity plans, and resource allocation.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret production data, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present plans, reports, and recommendations clearly.
- Candidates should possess Project Control capabilities, including monitoring progress, managing risks, and supporting adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering (or a related discipline) are preferred.
- Beneficial experience includes familiarity with automotive or manufacturing environments, ERP/MRP systems, and basic knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high attention to detail is expected.
