Position: Planning Engineer
Experience: 4 Years
Department: ProjectsReports To: Project Manager / Deputy General Manager – ProjectsLocation - Wakad/ Ravet / Baner
Immediate Joiner Preferred.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project PlanningPrepare detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project. Develop Baseline Programme before project commencement.Prepare Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). Define project milestones and activity sequencing.Prepare construction methodology in coordination with execution team. Prepare project calendars and working schedules.
2. Schedule Monitoring & Control Update project schedules on weekly basis. Track planned vs actual progress.Identify delays and critical activities. Monitor float consumption.Revise schedules whenever required.Maintain project baseline and revised schedules.
3. Progress MeasurementCollect daily and weekly progress from site engineers. And prepare the WPR & MPRPrepare milestone achievement reports.

Coordination with Project Manager, Billing Department, Procurement Department & Contractors.
5. Delay Analysis & corrective and preventive actions
6. Risk ManagementIdentify project risks affecting timelines. Monitor critical path activities.Recommend mitigation measures.Assist management in minimizing schedule overruns.
7. Meetings Participate in:Weekly & Monthly Planning MeetingsContractor Review MeetingsManagement Review MeetingPrepare MOM (Minutes of Meeting)To ensure closure of action plan.

10. Educational QualificationB.E./B.Tech in Civil EngineeringDiploma in Civil Engineering (with relevant experience may also be considered)
11. Experience RequiredMinimum 4 years of experience in construction project planning. Experience in residential and commercial high-rise building projects. Hands-on experience in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.Experience in project scheduling, monitoring, and reporting.
12. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Timely preparation of project schedules. Accuracy of planned vs actual progress tracking. Percentage adherence to project milestones. Timely submission of planning reports. Reduction in schedule slippages.Effectiveness of recovery plans. Resource utilization efficiency.
