Job Summary

Cyrix Academy is looking for an experienced Placement Officer to manage student placements and build solid employer partnerships across the biomedical and healthcare sectors. The ideal candidate should have established industry connections and a proven track record of placing students in hospitals, medical equipment companies, and healthcare organizations.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain relationships with biomedical equipment companies, hospitals, medical device manufacturers, and healthcare organizations.
- Identify suitable job opportunities for students completing biomedical and healthcare training programs.
- Coordinate with HR teams and employers for interviews, recruitment drives, and campus placements.
- Manage student resumes, interview preparation, mock interviews, and career guidance.
- Build and maintain employer databases, job openings, and placement records.
- Coordinate with trainers and academic teams to identify placement-ready students.
- Follow up with employers regarding selection results, offer letters, and joining status.
- Track placement performance and maintain placement MIS reports.




- Develop new employer partnerships to improve placement opportunities.
- Achieve assigned placement targets and submit periodic reports to management.

Required Skills
- Strong employer relationship management and networking skills.
- Experience in student placements and recruitment coordination.
- Knowledge of biomedical, healthcare, hospital, or medical equipment industries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and MIS reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple batches and achieve placement targets.
- Willingness to travel for employer meetings and placement activities.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in placement activities at academies, colleges, training institutes, or skill development centres.
- Existing contacts with HR teams, hospitals, recruitment agencies, and medical equipment companies.
- Proven experience in independently managing student placements in the biomedical or healthcare sector.
