Job Vacancy – Physiotherapist

Cherian Ashram Holistic Centre, Kottayam

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team, with a primary focus on exercise-based rehabilitation, patient education, and lifestyle-related disease management.

Key Responsibilities

- Exercise Training & Patient Education: Educate and guide patients on resistance training, muscle strengthening, mobility exercises, and safe exercise techniques.
- Weight Loss & Diabetes Management: Develop individualized exercise programmes for patients with obesity, diabetes mellitus, and other lifestyle-related conditions.
- Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation: Assess and manage patients with back pain, shoulder pain, joint pain, and generalized musculoskeletal complaints.
- Neurological Rehabilitation: Provide physiotherapy and functional rehabilitation for stroke patients and individuals with mobility limitations.
- Personalized Exercise Plans: Design, demonstrate, and supervise exercise programmes based on patients' medical conditions, fitness levels, and rehabilitation goals.
- Patient Monitoring & Follow-up: Track progress, encourage adherence to prescribed exercises, and maintain appropriate treatment documentation.




- Multidisciplinary Care: Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy (BPT) / MPT from a recognized institution.
- Strong knowledge of resistance training, therapeutic exercises, and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
- Good understanding of exercise prescription for obesity, diabetes, and lifestyle-related diseases.
- Excellent patient communication, counselling, and motivational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a medical team.
- Previous clinical experience is preferred.

Job Type: Part time / Full-time (as applicable)

Salary: Based on qualifications and experience.

We are particularly looking for someone passionate about patient education, preventive healthcare, and empowering patients to improve their health through regular exercise and sustainable lifestyle changes.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
