About the Role

We are hiring a Pharma Senior Analyst for a pharmaceutical strategy and consulting firm working with global pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology innovators, and biosimilar businesses.

The role focuses on pharmaceutical market research, competitive intelligence, commercial strategy, financial modeling, and biosimilar market analysis. The selected candidate will contribute to strategic client engagements and develop insights that support portfolio decisions, product launches, market entry, and commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Research & Market Intelligence

- Conduct competitive landscape assessments across therapy areas, geographies, and product development stages.
- Analyze biosimilar market opportunities, including market sizing, pricing trends, competitor positioning, and regulatory pathways.
- Gather and interpret pharmaceutical industry data to develop actionable business insights.
- Perform structured and hypothesis-driven research using multiple data sources.

2. Financial & Commercial Modeling

- Develop financial models for product forecasting, valuation, and Net Present Value (NPV) analysis.
- Evaluate pricing strategies, reimbursement, market access, and competitive positioning.
- Support portfolio assessments and financial performance tracking.
- Analyze biosimilar market entry, expansion, and commercialization scenarios.

3. Client Deliverables & Stakeholder Management

- Prepare high-quality reports, Excel models,



and PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership and client stakeholders.
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of client-facing deliverables.
- Collaborate with strategy, execution, and client-facing teams.
- Communicate research findings and recommendations clearly and effectively.

4. Market & Industry Monitoring

- Track pharmaceutical industry developments, product launches, regulatory changes, and competitive trends.
- Monitor biosimilar adoption, pricing, and market evolution.
- Conduct company profiling, launch tracking, and performance analysis.
- Contribute to industry intelligence resources and thought leadership initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences consulting, or pharmaceutical strategy and analytics.
- Hands-on experience in pharmaceutical strategy, commercial analysis, or market intelligence.
- Experience with biosimilar markets, commercialization strategies, regulatory pathways, and manufacturing processes.
- Exposure to advanced markets, particularly the US and Europe, is preferred.
- Solid understanding of pharmaceutical market dynamics and competitive intelligence.

Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including data analysis, financial modeling, and forecasting.




- Strong MS PowerPoint skills for creating professional presentations.
- Proficiency in MS Word for reports and documentation.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical data sources such as IQVIA, PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, and regulatory databases.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related discipline (B.Pharm, B.Tech Biotechnology, or equivalent).
- Advanced degree such as M.Pharm, M.Tech, MBA, or an equivalent qualification is required.
