Job Summary

Mahalaxmi Construction is looking for a skilled and responsible PEB Erection Engineer to supervise and coordinate the installation of Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) and structural steel components at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for managing erection teams, ensuring proper bolt fixing, maintaining quality and safety standards, and completing erection activities as per project drawings and schedules.

1. Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate the erection of PEB structures and structural steel components at project sites.

- Ensure proper installation of columns, rafters, beams, purlins, girts, bracing, roof sheets, and wall cladding.

- Verify structural alignment, levels, dimensions, and verticality as per approved drawings.

- Ensure correct bolt tightening and fixing using the specified torque values and approved procedures.

- Coordinate crane operations, lifting activities, manpower, tools, and equipment required for erection.

- Monitor daily erection activities and ensure completion within project timelines.

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, erection drawings, and installation details.

- Conduct inspections to ensure structural stability, workmanship, and quality standards.

- Ensure compliance with site safety procedures, including working at height,



lifting operations, and PPE requirements.

- Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, contractors, and other departments.

- Prepare daily progress reports and maintain records of manpower, material consumption, and erection progress.

- Identify site issues and take corrective actions to avoid delays and rework.

1. Required Qualifications

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

- Practical knowledge of PEB erection and structural steel installation.

- Ability to read and understand fabrication and erection drawings.

- Knowledge of bolt tightening, alignment, levelling, and structural assembly.

- Understanding of construction site safety and quality control procedures.

- Strong site supervision and team management skills.

- Good communication and coordination abilities.

- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.

- Knowledge of cranes, rigging, lifting tools, and erection equipment.

- Ability to work at industrial construction sites and meet project deadlines.

- Willingness to travel or work at project sites as required.

Pay: ₹329,000.00 - ₹1,440,000.00 per year
