: Pathology Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily pathology laboratory operations and ensure smooth workflow.

- Monitor the collection, labelling, transportation, and receipt of patient samples.

- Ensure samples are processed within the defined turnaround time (TAT).

- Coordinate with phlebotomists, laboratory technicians, collection centres, and reporting teams.

- Track pending samples, reports, and critical or delayed cases, and escalate issues promptly.

- Maintain accurate patient records, sample registers, and laboratory documentation.

- Ensure compliance with laboratory protocols, safety guidelines, hygiene standards, and quality procedures.

- Assist in monitoring sample rejection rates, reporting delays, and operational performance.





- Support inventory monitoring for laboratory consumables and coordinate replenishment when required.

- Handle operational queries from collection centres and internal teams.

- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow established data privacy procedures.

- Support internal audits, quality checks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
