Role Description The Owner of ProTec General Insurance Limited will provide strategic leadership, set the long-term vision, and ensure that the company delivers innovative and customer-centric insurance solutions. This full-time on-site role, based in Salem, involves overseeing overall operations, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and risk management, while driving growth and profitability.

The Owner will guide product development and digital innovation, build and maintain key partnerships, and represent the organization with investors, regulators, and other stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading senior management, making high-impact business decisions, monitoring market trends, and fostering a culture of integrity, innovation, and exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated leadership experience in insurance, financial services, or a closely related industry, with responsibility for strategy, operations, and performance.
- Strong knowledge of general insurance products, underwriting principles, risk management, and regulatory requirements applicable to the insurance sector.




- Proven ability to drive digital innovation and insurtech initiatives, including use of data analytics, automation, and customer-experience technologies.
- Experience in financial management, budgeting, capital allocation, and interpreting financial statements to inform business decisions.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including building relationships with regulators, investors, partners, and internal teams.
- Advanced decision-making, problem-solving, and strategic planning capabilities, with a focus on scalable and sustainable growth.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to represent the organization in public, regulatory, and industry forums.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) or skilled insurance qualification is an advantage.
