Role Description The Outreach Officer is a full-time, on-site role based at AIMER Business School’s Thamarassery campus. The role involves planning and executing community outreach initiatives, building relationships with schools, colleges, local organizations, and industry partners to promote AIMER’s programs and events.

The Outreach

Officer will coordinate and manage information sessions, workshops, and events, ensuring high-quality engagement with prospective students, parents, and stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting research on outreach opportunities, maintaining communication with partners, preparing outreach materials,



tracking engagement metrics, and supporting marketing and admissions activities as needed. The role also requires close collaboration with academic, marketing, and administrative teams to enhance AIMER’s visibility and impact in the region.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Community Engagement and Community Outreach, with the ability to build and sustain relationships with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Effective Communication skills, including clear spoken and written communication and confident public speaking for presentations and events.
- Experience in Event Management, including planning, organizing, and executing outreach events, workshops, and information sessions.
- Ability to conduct basic Research to identify outreach opportunities, analyze community needs, and inform engagement strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Social Sciences, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple initiatives.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with digital tools for communication, documentation, and basic data tracking.
- Comfort working in office in Thamarassery and traveling locally for outreach activities; prior experience in education or community-facing roles is a plus.
