Solar Assist, a vertical of the established solar EPC Minus CO2, is building a technology-enabled Solar Operations & Maintenance (O&M;) business. We help residential societies and commercial customers manage their solar plants through preventive maintenance, fault monitoring, cleaning, troubleshooting and reporting. With over 7 MW of solar assets under management, Solar Assist is building its operational capabilities and technology to support a growing portfolio of solar installations.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an O&M; Operations Lead based in Belapur, Navi Mumbai.

The Operations

Lead will oversee day-to-day solar O&M; activities, coordinating between leadership, technical personnel, the AMC coordinator and field technicians.

Responsibilities include planning and tracking maintenance and cleaning schedules, monitoring site issues and equipment faults, troubleshooting operational problems, coordinating manpower and material requirements, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The role will also involve tracking unresolved issues through to closure, maintaining accurate operational records, monitoring fleet-wide performance and preparing regular reports for leadership. The ideal candidate will take ownership of operations and resolve routine issues independently,



escalating significant risks and decisions when required.

Qualifications

- Degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics or a related engineering field.
- At least 2 years of relevant operations experience, preferably in solar O&M;, logistics, electrical maintenance or field service operations.
- Experience coordinating field technicians, maintenance schedules, contractors and multiple sites.
- Practical understanding of solar inverters, electrical systems, preventive maintenance and basic fault troubleshooting.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving and team coordination skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Ability to take ownership of operational issues, ensure timely resolution and hold teams accountable for execution.
- Proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace and comfort maintaining operational reports and records.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to coordinate with field teams, technical personnel and leadership.
- Ability to work full-time in office in Belapur, Navi Mumbai, and travel to solar installation sites as required.

Experience managing a large portfolio of sites or a sizeable field team will be an advantage.
- Compensation: ₹25,000–₹35,000 per month.
