Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Confectionery Division. The candidate will be responsible for managing production, inventory, quality, manpower, procurement coordination, dispatch, and overall operational efficiency while ensuring that products are delivered on time and meet the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise the overall day-to-day operations of the confectionery division.
- Plan and monitor production schedules based on sales demand, orders, and inventory requirements.
- Ensure smooth coordination between production, procurement, stores, sales, and dispatch teams.
- Monitor the availability and consumption of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels and minimize wastage, expiry, and stock losses.
- Ensure compliance with quality, hygiene, food safety, and operational standards.
- Monitor production output, productivity, wastage, and operational costs.
- Supervise and manage production and support staff, including manpower allocation and shift planning.
- Ensure proper maintenance and efficient utilization of production machinery and equipment.
- Coordinate with the purchase team for timely procurement of raw materials and packaging materials.
- Monitor batch production, stock movement, dispatch, and delivery schedules.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Maintain proper operational records, reports, stock statements, production reports, and MIS.




- Work closely with the management to achieve production targets, sales requirements, and profitability goals.
- Develop and implement SOPs to improve operational efficiency and standardization.
- Monitor vendor and supplier performance and coordinate for timely resolution of operational issues.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards across the production and storage areas.
- Handle customer/order-related operational requirements and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Conduct regular operational reviews and provide reports to senior management.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and productivity enhancement.
- Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of confectionery/food production operations.
- Excellent operations and people-management skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management and production planning.
- Good understanding of quality control and food safety practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple teams and coordinate across departments.
- Valuable knowledge of MS Excel and MIS reporting.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of production machinery, maintenance coordination, and process improvement will be an advantage.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Food Technology, Hotel Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in the confectionery, bakery, FMCG, food production, or hospitality industry will be preferred.

Pay: ₹38,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
