Job Title: Medical Coder - Fresher (CPC Certified)

Experience: Fresher (0-1 Year)

Qualification: Life Science Graduate (B.Sc./M.Sc. - Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Nursing, Pharmacy, Allied Health Sciences, etc.) with CPC Certification

Key Responsibilities

- Review and analyze patient medical records and clinical documentation.
- Assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes based on physician documentation.
- Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with coding standards and regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient health information.
- Identify documentation deficiencies and escalate coding-related issues when required.




- Meet productivity and quality targets established by the organization.
- Stay updated with changes in coding guidelines and healthcare regulations.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or related healthcare disciplines.
- CPC Certification is mandatory.
- Good understanding of Anatomy, Physiology, and Medical Terminology.
- Basic knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Solid analytical and attention-to-detail skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
