Role Overview

The SVP Offshore Sales will lead Invesco’s India‑based offshore sales function, supporting and servicing existing offshore and intermediary clients across global markets. The role focuses on strengthening client engagement, collaborating with onshore sales teams across different countries, driving wallet‑share expansion, and ensuring consistent, high‑quality client coverage through close collaboration with Invesco counterparts across regions.

This role requires deep understanding of asset management products, global client servicing models, and cross‑border stakeholder management, while operating within Invesco’s regulatory, risk, and governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

AUM & Revenue Growth Responsibilities

- Drive organic AUM growth from existing clients by:
- Supporting cross‑selling and upselling of Invesco’s investment capabilities across asset classes and strategies
- Identifying client portfolio gaps and collaborating with product and investment teams to position relevant solutions

- Support acquisition of current AUM by:

- Partnering with onshore sales teams on new client onboarding, RFPs, DDQs, and pitch processes
- Providing offshore support for prospect coverage, product positioning, and follow‑ups
- Enabling efficient and timely responses to prospective client needs to improve win rates

Client Servicing & Relationship Support

- Act as the offshore sales lead supporting existing institutional, wholesale, and intermediary clients across geographies
- Partner with onshore sales teams to enhance client coverage, responsiveness, and engagement
- Support client servicing activities including:
- Product information and fund updates
- RFPs, DDQs, pitch books, and client presentations
- Ongoing account reviews and reporting coordination





- Drive client retention and identify opportunities for cross‑sell and upsell in partnership with onshore teams

Global Stakeholder Collaboration

- Work closely with Invesco sales, relationship management, and distribution teams across the US, EMEA, and APAC
- Serve as a key offshore interface for global sales leadership, ensuring alignment on priorities and coverage models
- Coordinate with investment teams, product specialists, marketing, operations, legal, risk, and compliance

Offshore Sales Model & Operations

- Define clear roles, responsibilities, and service standards aligned with global sales operating models
- Implement consistent processes for CRM usage, pipeline tracking, client activity reporting, and service SLAs
- Ensure adherence to Invesco’s compliance, regulatory, and conduct standards

Governance, Risk & Controls

- Ensure all client interactions and materials adhere to applicable regulatory requirements (SEC, FCA, MiFID, SEBI, etc., as relevant)
- Partner with Compliance and Risk teams to maintain strong controls and audit readiness
- Promote a strong culture of ethics, risk awareness, and fiduciary responsibility

Key Skills & Competencies

Functional & Technical Skills

- Strong understanding of asset management products (mutual funds, ETFs, alternatives, fixed income, equities)
- Experience supporting institutional, wholesale, or intermediary clients
- Familiarity with global sales and distribution models in asset management
- Proficiency with CRM systems and client reporting tools

Education & Experience

- MBA degree in Marketing, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field; CA or CFA preferred
- 12+ years of experience in asset management, investment management, or financial services
- 7–10+ years in senior sales, client servicing, or offshore/global support leadership roles
- Prior experience working with global asset managers and international clients strongly preferred
