Position: Sr. Officer – Production

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical / Production / Civil Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and monitor daily production activities as per production targets and project schedules.
- Supervise fabrication of PEB components such as columns, rafters, beams, purlins, girts, bracings and built-up sections.
- Manage shop-floor activities including cutting, fit-up, welding, drilling, straightening, grinding and finishing.
- Ensure production is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor manpower, machine utilization, material availability and production efficiency.
- Coordinate with PPC, Design, Quality, Maintenance and Stores teams to ensure smooth production flow.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to achieve daily/monthly targets.




- Ensure minimum material wastage and optimum utilization of raw materials.
- Monitor welding quality, dimensional accuracy and fabrication tolerances.
- Maintain production reports, shift-wise output, rejection/rework data and downtime records.
- Ensure compliance with 5S, safety procedures and EHS standards on the shop floor.
- Guide and supervise operators, welders and fitters to improve productivity and quality.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for productivity, cost reduction and process optimization.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of PEB fabrication and steel structure manufacturing.
- Valuable understanding of fabrication drawings and structural components.
- Knowledge of welding processes, fabrication methods and shop-floor operations.
- Ability to manage manpower and production targets.
- Good coordination and problem-solving skills
