Position

Nursing Superintendent

Experience Required

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience in a multispeciality or tertiary care hospital preferred.

Qualification

- B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing
- Valid Nursing Council Registration

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee and manage the overall nursing department.
- Supervise nursing staff across various hospital departments.
- Develop and implement nursing policies, protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Prepare and monitor nursing duty rosters, staffing requirements and attendance.
- Ensure high standards of patient care, nursing practices and patient safety.
- Monitor infection prevention and control practices.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards and hospital quality protocols.
- Conduct nursing audits, staff training and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate with doctors, hospital administration and other departmental heads.




- Address nursing-related patient complaints and operational issues.
- Maintain nursing documentation, reports and departmental records.
- Ensure proper utilization of nursing resources and equipment.
