KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Run programmes RFQ to SOP against a dated gate plan
- Lead feasibility and DFM review with design and the shops
- Drive tooling development mould, die, fixture — with the tool room and outside vendors
- Feed costing with purchase, in the CST cost summary format
- Plan trials, first article and validation




- Hold the NPD folder structure and documentation discipline for every programme
- Be the customer's single point of contact through development
- 3D modelling and 2D detailing of plastic and metal parts
- Run DFM checks before release
- Release BOMs and drawings with revision control
- Support prototypes and shop trials hands-on
- Maintain test and validation records
- Process engineering change notes

MUST HAVE

- 3–12 years in NPD or project engineering covering both plastics and metals
- Tooling development ownership
- APQP and PPAP
- Customer-facing programme management

POSITIVE TO HAVE

- SolidWorks or Creo
- Mould flow simulation
- Export customer programmes

QUALIFICATION

BE/BTech Mechanical.
