Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Non-Veg Specialist to manage the daily operations of the non-vegetarian section, ensure product freshness and quality, maintain hygiene standards, and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure the freshness and quality of meat, poultry, seafood, and other non-vegetarian products.

- Check incoming stock for quality, quantity, temperature, and packaging conditions.

- Ensure proper storage and temperature control of chilled and frozen products.

- Maintain product displays, pricing, labelling, and availability.

- Follow FIFO/FEFO practices to ensure proper stock rotation and minimise wastage.

- Monitor inventory, stock levels, expiry dates, and product shelf life.

- Ensure strict hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards in the department.

- Handle products carefully to prevent contamination and maintain quality.





- Assist customers with product selection and provide information about available cuts and products.

- Monitor daily wastage and damaged stock and report discrepancies to the Department Manager.

- Ensure cleaning and sanitisation of workstations, equipment, and display counters.

- Coordinate with the Department Manager for stock replenishment and smooth department operations.

- Follow company SOPs and applicable food safety guidelines.

Qualification

- Minimum 12th pass; graduates preferred.

- Prior experience in a non-vegetarian retail section, meat shop, seafood section, or supermarket is preferred.

- Knowledge of meat, poultry, seafood handling, storage, and quality standards is an advantage

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
