Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Node.js Developer with strong expertise in backend development, RESTful API design, and integration of enterprise applications. The candidate will be responsible for developing scalable backend services, designing and implementing APIs, integrating databases and third-party systems, and ensuring application performance, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Node.js.

- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Develop reusable, scalable, and secure backend components.

- Implement API authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0, JWT, or similar mechanisms.

- Integrate APIs with databases, third-party applications, and internal enterprise systems.

- Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or similar.

- Implement error handling, logging, validation, and performance optimization.

- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.

- Troubleshoot API issues and resolve performance and production defects.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, QA engineers, and DevOps teams.

- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile development activities.

- Maintain technical documentation, API specifications, and integration guidelines.





- Follow secure coding practices and software development standards.

Mandatory Skills

- Robust hands-on experience in Node.js backend development.

- Experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.

- Proficiency in JavaScript and asynchronous programming, including Promises and async/await.

- Experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express.js or NestJS.

- Strong understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, headers, and API versioning.

- Experience with JSON, API validation, error handling, and middleware.

- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases.

- Knowledge of API security, authentication, and authorization.

- Experience with Git and version control.

- Understanding of debugging, unit testing, and application performance optimization.

Good-to-Have Skills

- Experience building microservices and distributed applications.

- Knowledge of GraphQL APIs.

- Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI documentation.

- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience deploying applications on cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.

- Knowledge of message queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.

- Understanding of event-driven architecture and serverless applications.
