Job DescriptionRole Overview

We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to develop, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot networking infrastructure for a residential mobile proxy platform. The platform uses Android devices as proxy exit nodes, allowing customers to connect through SOCKS5 and HTTP proxy protocols.

The ideal candidate should have strong networking fundamentals, practical experience with TCP/IP, SOCKS5, VPNs, tunneling, and Linux networking. The role involves working with proxy infrastructure, network routing, connectivity troubleshooting, and secure data transmission.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot TCP/IP networking, routing, DNS, ports, and connectivity issues.
- Work with SOCKS5 proxies, HTTP proxies, and HTTP CONNECT tunneling.
- Set up, configure, and maintain VPN solutions, including OpenVPN and tunneling technologies.
- Manage Linux-based networking infrastructure, including iptables, firewall rules, NAT, and routing.
- Configure and maintain proxy servers and VPS-based edge infrastructure.
- Diagnose network latency, connection failures, packet loss, and proxy performance issues.
- Troubleshoot end-to-end connectivity between Android devices, proxy servers, and customer applications.
- Monitor network performance, reliability, and availability.
- Collaborate with the development team to improve proxy infrastructure, security, and scalability.
- Document network configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and infrastructure changes.





Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, ports, routing, NAT, and firewalls.
- Practical knowledge of SOCKS5, HTTP proxies, and HTTP CONNECT.
- Experience with VPN technologies, tunneling, and secure network connectivity.
- Working knowledge of Linux networking and command-line troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with VPS servers, iptables, firewall configuration, and network routing.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex connectivity and proxy-related issues.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with residential proxies or mobile proxy networks.
- Experience with OpenVPN, WireGuard, or similar VPN technologies.
- Knowledge of gost or other proxy server tools.
- Familiarity with Docker and network monitoring tools.
- Understanding of TLS, certificates, and PKI.
- Experience with Android-based proxy or networking applications.
