Network Administrator L3

Experience

- B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc (IT)/M.Sc (Computer Science) or equivalent: Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience
- M.E./M.Tech: Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Network Administrator to manage, monitor, and support enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in routing, switching, WAN technologies, network security, VPN technologies, and network monitoring. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting skills, proactive network management, vendor coordination, and the ability to lead operational activities to ensure high network availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, WAN circuits, and wireless networks.
- Administer and support IP-based network environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.
- Manage switching technologies including VLANs, STP, and Layer-2/Layer-3 switching.
- Support and maintain MPLS, L2VPN, and L3VPN environments.
- Monitor network performance and availability using Network Management Systems (NMS) and monitoring tools.
- Handle incidents, service requests, and change activities through IT Service Desk processes.
- Coordinate with telecom vendors and service providers for issue resolution and escalations.
- Manage WAN technologies including leased lines, modems, Ethernet circuits, and internet connectivity.
- Support and troubleshoot Wi-Fi and RF-based network infrastructure.
- Participate in DDoS detection, analysis, and mitigation activities.
- Generate operational, performance, and utilization reports.




- Support Windows and Linux-based server environments from a networking perspective.
- Lead and coordinate team activities to achieve operational and service-level objectives.
- Ensure adherence to network security standards, policies, and best practices.

- Relevant networking certification such as:

- CCNA / CCNP

- JNCIA / JNCIP

- Huawei HCIA / HCIP

- Aruba Certified Skilled

- Equivalent OEM networking certification

Preferred Skills
- Experience working in large enterprise, ISP, NOC, or government network environments.
- Exposure to network automation tools and scripting.
- Experience with high-availability and redundant network architectures.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes.

Soft Skills
