Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate, qualified, and experienced IBDP & MYP English Teacher to teach English Language and Literature across the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP). The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the IB curriculum, inquiry-based learning, concept-driven teaching, and assessment practices.

The candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, developing students' critical thinking and communication skills, and preparing students for IB assessments while fostering a supportive and inclusive learning workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the IB MYP and IBDP curriculum frameworks.
- Teach English Language and Literature, including literary analysis, textual interpretation, academic writing, and language development, as applicable to the assigned courses.
- Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, listening, and critical thinking skills.
- Implement inquiry-based, concept-driven, and student-centred teaching methodologies.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching resources, assignments, assessments,



and differentiated learning activities.
- Guide MYP students in developing analytical, creative, and communication skills through appropriate formative and summative assessments.
- Prepare IBDP students for internal and external assessments, including Individual Oral (IO), Paper 1, Paper 2, and other course-specific requirements, as applicable.
- Support students in developing academic writing, research, referencing, and literary analysis skills.
- Provide constructive feedback on students' work and maintain accurate academic records.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the learning needs and abilities of diverse students.
- Monitor student progress and implement strategies to improve academic performance.
- Collaborate with colleagues, coordinators, and school leadership to ensure effective curriculum delivery.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher meetings, professional development sessions, and school activities.
- Maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes academic integrity, respect, inclusion, and independent learning.

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
