Role Description The MEP Estimation Engineer will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in building projects. This full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru involves analyzing drawings and specifications, preparing BOQs, coordinating with project teams, and supporting tender submissions. The role includes conducting quantity take-offs, evaluating vendor and subcontractor quotations, and assisting in negotiations to achieve cost-effective solutions.

The engineer will collaborate with design and project management teams, maintain estimation records and databases, and support value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.



Regular interaction with clients and internal stakeholders to clarify scope, resolve estimation-related queries, and refine cost assumptions is a key part of the day-to-day responsibilities.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in BOQ preparation and project estimation for MEP and related building services.
- Candidates should possess a background in Civil Engineering or related engineering disciplines, with knowledge of construction methods and building systems.
- Candidates should possess effective negotiation and communication skills for coordinating with vendors, clients, and internal project teams.
- Candidates should possess research skills to gather cost data, analyze market rates, and benchmark project costs.
- Proficiency in estimation and quantity take-off software, spreadsheets, and basic CAD tools is beneficial.
- Relevant work experience in MEP estimation for commercial, residential, or industrial projects is preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) from an accredited institution is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and commitment to accuracy and ethical practices are expected.
