The candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) models using Autodesk Plant 3D, Revit, Navisworks, and other BIM tools. The role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure clash-free, constructible, and productive MEP detailing.

Role & responsibilities

- Develop, manage, and update BIM models for MEP systems using Autodesk Plant 3D, Revit, and Navisworks.
- Ensure BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and company standards are strictly followed.
- Coordinate MEP models with structural, architectural, and other engineering disciplines.
- Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues using Navisworks Manage.
- Work closely with designers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve spatial conflicts.
- Prepare 2D P&ID; drawings, 3D models, and fabrication drawings based on BIM models.
- Ensure all models are accurate, up to date, and in full compliance with project standards.
- Extract Bills of Materials (BOMs), schedules, and reports directly from the BIM model.




- Work with international teams for seamless multidisciplinary BIM coordination.
- Support the adoption of BIM workflows and best practices within the team.
- Train and mentor junior BIM modelers and drafters on BIM tools, techniques, and standards.
- Keep up with the latest BIM technologies, industry trends, and software updates.

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in MEP BIM coordination.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Autodesk Plant 3D, Revit MEP, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD, and BIM 360.
- AutoCAD Plant 3D: Advanced knowledge of modelling, spec-driven design, and generating orthographic and isometric drawings.
- P&ID; Understanding: Strong interpretation of process and instrumentation diagrams for accurate system coordination.
- Standards: Familiarity with ISO 19650, ISO 16739, IEC 62424, and BIM Level 2 standards.
