Salary: ₹8,000 – ₹20,000 per month (based on experience and skills)

Working Hours: 10 hours per day

About the Role

Hope Scanning Centre is looking for a detail-oriented Medical Typist to join our team. You will convert doctors’ dictations, handwritten notes and scan findings into accurate, well-formatted reports. Accuracy, confidentiality and good command of medical terminology are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Type and transcribe scan and diagnostic reports (Ultrasound, X-ray, CT, MRI and similar) from doctors’ dictation or handwritten notes
- Proofread and edit reports for spelling, grammar, punctuation and medical terminology
- Format reports according to the centre’s templates and standards
- Enter patient details accurately into the system
- Clarify unclear dictations or abbreviations with the doctor or radiologist




- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information
- Deliver reports within the set turnaround time
- Organize, file and archive digital and physical records

Requirements
- Graduate with typing skills
- Typing speed of at least 35–40 WPM with high accuracy
- Knowledge of medical and radiology terminology.
- Good English spelling, grammar and proofreading skills
- Working knowledge of MS Word and basic computer operations
- Ability to understand doctors’ dictation and handwriting
- Robust attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines

Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in a hospital, scanning centre or diagnostic lab
- Certificate or training in Medical Transcription
- English typing

Pay: ₹8,700.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
