Job Title : IPDRG Medical Coder / Senior Medical Coder

- Position: Medical Coder / Senior Medical Coder
- Specialization: IPDRG Coding / Inpatient DRG Coding
- Experience: 1–4 Years
- Work Mode: Work From Office (WFO)
- Salary as per company norms
- Location : Chennai | Bangalore | Trichy | Selam | Pune.
- Industry: US Healthcare / Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) / Medical Coding.
- Relevant medical coding certification is mandatory.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Review medical records and clinical documentation for accurate coding.
- Assign appropriate medical codes according to applicable coding guidelines.
- Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
- Identify coding discrepancies and documentation gaps.
- Support coding quality and productivity requirements.




- Work according to client-specific guidelines and quality standards.

Required Skills

- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in IPDRG / Inpatient DRG Coding.
- Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding guidelines.
- Understanding of inpatient medical records and clinical documentation.
- Knowledge of principal diagnosis selection, secondary diagnoses, and MS-DRG assignment.
- Relevant certification is mandatory: CCS , CIC, CPC, COC.
- Valuable understanding of inpatient coding guidelines and compliance requirements
