Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of production machinery and utility equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical faults and minimize machinery downtime.
- Maintain and service equipment such as mixers, pulverizers, grinders, tablet compression machines, capsule filling machines, conveyors, and packing machinery, as applicable.
- Inspect and maintain motors, gearboxes, bearings, pumps, belts, chains, and other mechanical components.
- Ensure proper lubrication, alignment, calibration coordination, and routine inspection of equipment.
- Maintain preventive maintenance schedules, breakdown reports, maintenance logs, and equipment history records.
- Coordinate with the Production and Quality Control departments to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
- Identify recurring mechanical problems and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure spare parts availability and maintain records of maintenance materials.
- Follow safety procedures, SOPs, GMP requirements, and applicable company quality standards.
- Support equipment installation, commissioning, modification,



and improvement activities.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and workplace safety in the maintenance area.

Required Qualifications

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical qualification.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance.
- Experience in a manufacturing plant is preferred.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, industrial machinery, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to identify equipment faults and carry out repairs independently.
- Basic computer knowledge for maintenance records and reporting.
- Good coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in Ayurvedic, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food, or herbal manufacturing.
- Knowledge of GMP, SOPs, and equipment maintenance documentation.
- Ability to handle emergency breakdowns and prioritize maintenance activities.
- Understanding of workplace safety and secure maintenance practices.

Salary Salary will be offered based on qualifications, relevant experience, and technical skills.
